25 | On 7/23/24 at 8:35am, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Erica Laird. At 8:46am the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and assistant were supervising 11 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 24/7. Licensee understands children may not stay for more than 24 consecutive hours. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are all bedrooms and the back yard, and were made inaccessible by lock and gate. The children use the front yard as the outdoor play area and it is fully fenced whenever the driveway gate is closed. There is a newly installed above-ground pool in the back yard which is not fully fenced. Fencing is in the process of being installed.
5 children's records were reviewed at 9:25am. 2 staff records were reviewed at 9:51am. There are currently 2 adults living in the home.
The following deficiencies were cited: accessible bodies of water 102417(g)(5) and improperly stored hazards 102417(g)(4)(C). A civil penalty shall be accessed for accessible bodies of water. (see LIC 809D):
