Application Specialist (AS) Alecia Sifuentes met with Licensee Sarah Kelly for the purpose of a case management inspection. Licensee requests a room change and has provided AS with updated indoor facility sketch. Licensee is not making any changes to the capacity. The program currently operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There is one infant classroom (previously preschool classroom four) and one toddler classroom (previously infant classroom). AS observed a sufficient amount of equipment, toys, tables, chairs, cubbies, and napping cots. There is an infant nap room that is separate from the infant classroom. AS used current measurements. The total classrooms space contains a total of 701 square feet, which will accommodate Licensee’s current capacity of 10 infants and 10 toddlers under the Toddler Option Program. There is one toilet, one potty chair, and three sinks for the children. AS observed a changing table within arm's reach of a sink.

Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee Sarah Kelly.

Effective today, 5/18/2023, AS will approve the infant and toddler room changes.
