On November 20, 2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tasha Alexander center director Brittany Barron for a Case Management visit to discuss the most recent lead exceedance for the faucets in classrooms 2 and 3.

Today the faucets remain covered and inaccessible to children in care. Outlets B and D located in rooms 2A and 3A were tested and exceeded 5.5 ppb in 8/2024. The fixtures were replaced and retested on 10/15/24, but still exceeded the 5.5. Per director, they are now in contact with the Elementary school's licensed plumber who they hope can figure out and fix the problem. Until then, the faucets will remain inaccessible to children in care.

The facility have contacted a licensed plumber in hopes to fix the lead problem. The faucets have been temporarity bagged and taped off to prevent access to children in care. Director will submit results to CCL once the facility retests the faucets.
