On 03/07/2024 at 8:50 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted an Plan of Correction inspection at Pixie Play School. LPA met with Director, Marisa Briggs and explained the purpose of this visit. During today's inspection, there were 7 preschool aged children with one parent volunteer. Director stated there were 11 preschool aged children enrolled. Director has Criminal Record Clearance.

LPA is following up on a citation given to the facility on 12/13/2023 for failure to conduct Lead Testing for facility. Facility requested an extension for the Plan of Correction and was granted an extension until 02/26/2024. Director stated that facility has conducted Lead Testing and submitted required documents to licensing.

AS OF 03/07/2024, CITATION HAS BEEN CLEARED AND AN CLEARANCE LETTER HAS BEEN PRINTED OUT AND GIVEN TO THE DIRECTOR.

Also during today's inspection, LPA inquired about the Director's Packet. Director stated they were currently working on the Director's Packet and wanted more information about the Director's Packet. LPA reminded Director that the Director's Packet is required to be completed to verify Director's Qualifications. Director stated she will complete the packet and submit to licensing.

During today's inspection, there were no violations observed.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Marisa Briggs. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
