13 | On 10/21/25 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tasha Alexander met with Assistant Director Kim Maier for a 10 initial visit to discuss the above complaint allegations
Upon arrival, there are 15 preschool age children in the Two's room along with 1 teacher and 1 aide, and 14 preschool age children in the three's room along with 2 teachers. Today staff interviews were conducted, and a tour of the preschool playround was conducted. During today's tour of the playground, LPA observed a space/gap between the wooden fence and the bark located on the two's play ground. There is a parking lot on the other side of the wooden fence. Today, the bark has been brushed up against the fence to present the gap as smaller than it acually is. When the bark has been kicked away, a small child may be able to climb under, thus posing a risk.
Based on LPAs observations and interviews which were conducted, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 & Chapter 1 , are being cited on the attached LIC. 9099D.
An exit interview was conducted with assistant director Kim Maier.
