On 07/15/2026 at 8:57 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kareeca "Reeca" Sykes conducted an Unannounced Subsequent Complaint Investigation at Kindercare Learning Center #1039. LPA met with Assistant Director, Toria Chatman and explained the purpose of today’s inspection. During the visit, LPA's observed 33 school age children in care with six (6) staff in two (2) classrooms. Assitant Director informed LPA that there are currently 58 school age children enrolled at the facility. Complainant alleges that "Inadequate supervision resulting in children being hit by other children in care". LPA conducted multiple interviews, obtained relevant documents, and toured the facility. During the investigtion, LPA determined that although C2 consistantly displayed behavioral challenges and hit other children, staff were present and supervising the children durning the incidents. Therefore, LPA has made this allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED which means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. No deficiencies are cited for this allegation. Exit interview conducted with Assitant Director, Toria Chatman. Appeal rights were provided.

A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 CONSECTIVE DAYS.
