On May 1, 2024 at 11:25am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Julia Placencia arrived unannounced to complete the complaint investigation regarding the allegation above. LPA met with Program Director Angie Bell. There were 81 children and an additional 8 staff members present.

During the course of the investigation, LPA toured the facility, made observations, conducted interviews and reviewed files. The allegation that staff did not take precautions to prevent the spread of hand, foot, and mouth disease cannot be proven nor disproven.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. Exit interview conducted with Program Director Angie Bell. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and must be posted for 30 days.
