25 | On 04/23/2026 at 01:30 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Ashley Hollinger and Nicole Reynoso arrived at the facility to conduct an UNANNOUNCED, Annual inspection at Sandra Saenz‘s Family Childcare Home. LPAs met with Licensee and explained the purpose of today's inspection. LPAs were granted the inspection authority to enter the Home. Present in the home at the time of inspection were Licensee, Licensee's two (2) assistants, who are fingerprint cleared, and six (6) children in care consisting of five (5) preschoolers and one (1) infant. The family childcare home days and hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 07:00 AM to 06:00 PM.
The home is a two story house consisting of four (4) bedrooms, three (3) bathrooms, living room, family room, dining area, two (2) kitchens, and backyard. The upper level of the home is utilized by Licensee's son's family and is separated from day care children. All adults living in the home including on the upper level are fingerprint cleared.
ON-LIMIT areas: Living room, Kitchen 1, family room (main day care use), and Bathroom 1 (downstairs). The Isolation Area is located in the living room on the sofa, away from other children in care.
OFF-LIMIT areas: Bedrooms 1-2 (upstairs), Bedrooms 3-4 (downstairs), Bathrooms 2 and 3 (upstairs), Kitchen 2 and backyard. The off-limits areas are blocked off and made inaccessible to children in care.
Medicines, cleaning products, and sharp objects are stored inaccessible to children in care during today's inspection. The home maintains a working telephone. Licensee was reminded that smoking is not allowed in a family childcare home. Licensee states that there is one (1) bird in the home. Licensee stated there are no firearms or ammunition stored in the home.
