13 | On 3/10/2026 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) met with licensee Wendy Wright for a 10 day initial visit to discuss the above complaint allegation.
Present for today's visit, along with licensee are her 2 adult assistants, KamarIe & Jared and 8 children in care, two which are the licensee's own children. LPA also observed, licensee's two dogs in the home today. The primary areas that are on limits to children in care are the kitchen, living room, family room (play room), hall bathroom, backyard. Today LPA observed the kitchen/dinning and living room floors to have food and other items on the floor. There was also food and other items under the dining room table as well as miscilaneous items on top of the table. There are unwashed dishes in the kitchen sink as well. Licensee says that she and staff had planned to clean the rooms today, but have got a little behind. Although there are pets in the home, LPA did not observe animal feces/urine on any furniture or floors, nor did LPA notice a smell of animal feces or urine in the home. LPA did notice there appears to be a stale smell in the home and suggested opening windows for fresh air.
Based on LPAs observations which were conducted, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 ,Chapter 3, Operation of a Famiily child Care Home 102417 (b) are being cited a Type B violation, on the attached LIC. 9099D. An exit interview was conducted with licensee Wendy Wright.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
