Facility is giving child food parent asked not to be given

On 9/16/2025 at 8:55am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle met with Director Raquel Acosta for a complaint that was received alleging facility is giving child food parent asked not to be given. Present during LPAs visit were six (6) preschool age children and two (2) additional staff members. One (1) classroom, room two (2) was toured. The facility operates from 7:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday. The facility is currently going through a change of ownership with Gan Aviv by Kid Time.

Through interview it was found that children are given alternative foods to eat when a child is allergic to something or if the parent requests a different option be served. All children are provided snacks from the facility and bring their lunch from home. Interviews noted an incident where a child was given a food they did not like, but was also provided an alternative along with the food item. When the parent asked for the food to not be given, the facility stopped.

On 9/16/2025 at 8:55am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle met with Director Raquel Acosta for a complaint that was received alleging facility is not allowing child to finish meals. Present during LPAs visit were six (6) preschool age children and two (2) additional staff members. One (1) classroom, room two (2) was toured. The facility operates from 7:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday. The facility is currently going through a change of ownership with Gan Aviv by Kid Time.

Through interview it was found that children are allowed to remain inside to finish their meals if they are taking longer than the scheduled lunch time. It was also stated that if children are playing while eating, they are told to pack up their lunch.
