25 | On 1/31/2025 at 9:16am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle met with Director Jacque Kirk for an Unannounced Annual/Random Inspection. The facility is located on the Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church campus. During the inspection there were no school age children present. Four (4) classrooms, rooms 201, 202, 203 and the dining hall/school age room, were toured for a health and safety inspection. The facility operates 7:30am – 6:00pm, Monday – Friday. The facility is dual licensed and has an infant (073405614) and preschool license (073405612).
LPA observed all classrooms to have ample age-appropriate materials for the children’s learning and play that were clean, properly stored and in proper working order. All toxins, cleaning products, and hazardous materials were observed to be in inaccessible areas. All children are given a rest areas when needed as well. The facility transports children from four (4) different local elementary schools, Coyote Creek, Quail Run, Live Oak, and Bella Vista, using four (4) passenger vans. All vans are properly insured, registered, clean and well maintained. All staff operating the vans have a valid driver’s license on file as well. There are multiple properly working smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits on site.
All children bring their own lunch from home when they are at the facility all day and all morning and afternoon snacks are provided by the facility. All food that is brought from the children’s home will be properly labeled and stored. All food prep areas was observed to be clean and well maintained. All children bring their own water bottles and have access to clean drinking water in and outside of the classrooms.
