LPA observed that the toddler and infant classrooms had age-appropriate toys, furniture, educational materials, and designated storage space for each child. Electrical outlets were fitted with child safety covers to prevent children's access. The bathrooms were clean, fully operational, and equipped with suitable toileting equipment and sanitation products. The facility has a diaper-changing table within arm’s reach of a sink in each classroom.
The outdoor playground has a fence that is at least four feet tall. The play equipment is in good condition and does not have sharp, loose, or pointed parts. The areas around and under climbing equipment, swings, and slides are cushioned with tanbark padding. There are no pools, spas, or bodies of water located on the property.
The facility currently provides breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks, and lunch for the children in care. Menus are displayed in the facility.
The facility offers mats for children to rest or nap as well as sheets and blankets in which children use and are washed daily by the facility.
LPA reviewed the files of five children and verified that their emergency contact and medical information were complete. LPA reviewed five staff files and confirmed that all required forms were present. LPA reminded site supervisor to ensure staff have updated qualifications and trainings at all times.
