On 3/15/2024 at 3:35pm Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle met with a Facility Staff member for a case management inspection. Present during the inspection were six (6) staff members and seventeen (17) school age children. An application was submitted to a add one (1) additional room (Room16) with no additional capacity change. The facility is on the Golden View Elementary School campus and is currently licensed to operate in the YMCA portable, the library, Room 20, and Room 17. The facility operates from 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday - Friday. Hours of Operation in Room 20 is 2:30pm-5:30pm, and on Wednesday's the hours are 12:50pm - 5:30pm LPA conducted a health and safety inspection.

Fire clearance was approved by the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District on 3/11/2024.

The facility has ample age-appropriate materials in the rooms that were observed to be clean and in good condition. All toxins, cleaning products, medications, and hazardous materials were observed to be in inaccessible areas. All sinks and toilets in the portable were observed to be clean and in proper working order. Children will be using the elementary school bathrooms when they are in the other rooms. All children have access to clean drinking water in each room. Each room has a working smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and a fully charged fire extinguisher. There is a separate staff bathroom on site.

The play yard is shared with the Golden View Elementary School. The play structure is sturdy, anchored into the ground and has sufficient cushioning underneath with shade for the children. LPA did not observe any harmful or unattended bodies of water in or around the facility. The food prep areas are clean, well maintained, and all hazards are in inaccessible areas. All children bring their lunch on days school is not in session, and all snacks are provided by the school. The facility conducts field trips during the summer and uses rented school buses to transport the children. No facility staff drive the buses or transport children.
