25 | On September 25, 2024 at 8:30am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Julia Placencia arrived unannounced to conduct a case management inspection. LPA met with Licensee Mandeep Panech. Present were 18 children and an additional 3 staff members.
The facility was issued a type A citation on 9/17/24. LPA observed today that the report is not posted as required. An immediate $100 civil penalty is assessed today for not adhering to reporting requirements.
ยง1596.8595 Posting licensing report by child care facility or home; duration of posting; civil penalty for failure to comply; reports to be provided to parents or guardian of each child receiving services
(a)(1) Each licensed child day care facility shall post a copy of any licensing report pertaining to the facility that documents either a facility visit or a complaint investigation that results in a citation for a violation that, if not corrected, will create a direct and immediate risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care. The licensing report provided by the department shall be posted immediately upon receipt, adjacent to the postings required pursuant to Section 1596.817 and on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door to the facility and shall remain posted for 30 consecutive days.
(3) Failure to comply with paragraph (1) shall result in an immediate civil penalty of one hundred dollars ($100).
See LIC809D for deficiencies cited during today's inspection. Failure to correct will result in a $100 per day civil penalty until corrected. Repeat violations are $250 per violation and $100 per day until corrected.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
