25 | On 5/13/2022 at 11:20am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle met with Licensee Kanika Agarwal for an Unannounced Annual Inspection. When LPA arrived at the home, Licensee’s husband was present. Licensee arrived with six (6) school age children shortly after. Licensee lives in the home with her husband and fifteen (15) year old daughter. All adults living in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance. The facility operates 7:00am – 6:30pm, Monday - Friday.
ON LIMITS AREA: Family Room, Living Room, Kitchen and Downstairs Bathroom
OFF LIMITS AREA: Entire 2nd Floor, Downstairs Guest Room, Backyard and Garage
ISOLATION AREA: Living Room
The facility is a two story home owned by the Licensee. The inside of the home is observed to be neat, clean with ample age appropriate materials for the children. All toxins, cleaning products, personal medications, and hazardous materials were observed to be in inaccessible areas. Licensee has stated that there are no firearms no pets in the home.
Licensee stated that she transports children from school everyday. LPA obtained a copy of Licensee’s driver’s license, vehicle insurance and vehicle registration. All children have car seats in the vehicle.
The home has one (1) fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher in the hallway by the stairs. There is a working carbon monoxide/smoke detector in the living room, family room and in the hallway in front of the bathroom. The fireplace in the living room is unplugged and not in use making it inaccessible to the children in care. The home is equipped with central heat and air for proper ventilation. LPA did not observe any harmful bodies of water in or around the home.
