25 | Licensing Program Analyst Tasha Alexander met with licensee Luciana Moscoso for an unannounced ANNUAL/RANDOM inspection. Present for the inspection were licensee, her adult son Diego, 2 assistants and 10 children in care consisting of 3 infants,6 preschoolers and 1 schoo age.. LPA toured the facility and front yard for a health and safety inspection. The children's files were reviewed. The home is equipped with a 2A10BC fire extinguisher, a working smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector combor. which was tested today and are in working condition. There is a working telephone in the home, no change in phone number. Per licensee there are no fire arms on the premises. There are no hot tubs, swimming pools or other bodies of water on the premises.. All poisons, cleaning solutions and medications are inaccessible to children. Licensee has currenthe CPR and 1st Aid training which expires 3/2025 respectively. The off limits areas are the master bedroom/bath, guest bedroom, office/bedroom, garage, left side of the back yard. These areas with be inaccessible to children in care by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision. Licensee was also informed of the licensing web address (www.ccld.ca.gov) for downloading child care forms and (www.myccl.com) to register to receive child care updates.
Licensee [or facility representative] was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. |
