25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPA'S) Nyeesha Blount and Melissa Domantay met with Licensee Naomi Argueta to conduct an Unannounced Case Management visit for Capacity change, Today Census is 2 School age 1 preschooler children present, 2 Assistants that are background cleared. The On Limits areas are the living room area, 3 bedrooms, dining area , the hall bathroom on the right, and outdoor play yard areas. Off limits areas are garage and bathroom located inside the master bedroom which are made inaccessible for children. There are no hazardous items/toxins observed to be accessible to children. Furnishings and equipment, including infant sleeping equipment, are age appropriate and free of observed sharp/broken pieces. there is appropriate school age toys and furniture. Licensee stated there are no firearms stored or present on the premises. Isolation area for ill children will be the last bedroom to the right located at the end of the hall.
There is a working smoke detector, working carbon monoxide detector and fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher. outdoor play area is has safe structured equipment.. There are no hazardous conditions observed in the patio or outdoor play areas. There are no pools, hot tubs or accessible bodies of water present.
LPA'S reviewed the facility, staff and children's records including parents' rights forms, emergency ID forms and consent for emergency medical treatment forms. Licensee CPR/First Aid, Mandated Reporter Certificate for Licensee is all up to date.
Per incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Family Child Care Homes Section 102417.
