25 | On June 19, 2026 at 12:40PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA'S) Nyeesha Blount and Kaul, Priyanka conducted an unannounced case management visit for capacity increase. LPA met with Applicant Amado, Ana Andrades, Meneses, Bernarda, Connor Jessica who is background cleared (6) children was present during today's inspection. LPA toured the home with Applicant for a Health and Safety inspection. All required postings are posted in the hallway on the wall. Applicant has applied for a Capacity Increase from a Small Family Child Care Home with capacity of (8) children to Large Family Child Care Home capacity for (14) children. Days and hours of operation will be Monday through Sunday from 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Applicant has current Pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid that will expire on 03/2028, 06/2028, 01/2027. Mandated Reported Certificates are current and will expire on 12/26/26, 03/23/2027. Applicant stated there are no weapons In the home. Applicant has a fully stocked first aid kit. Applicant rents this property. Isolation Area of sick children will be in the dining room. Applicant understands that 100% supervision is required at all times and assistant will be needed to care for Large Family Day Care. Applicant has an approved fire clearance dated 03/31/2026 from El Cerrito-Kensington Fire Department Inspector Thomas, Peters. Fire clearance is approved for 14 children, Lower level private residence, NO children are allowed garage blocked off, self closing door, Child proof door knob. LPA observed that the day care has sufficient space, lighting, ventilation and an ample supply of age appropriate toys, activities and furniture. The facility has a functioning centralized fire system, carbon monoxide detector, (1) fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher.
ON LIMIT AREAS: will be the dining room, living room (daycare) room, (1) bathroom, and gated front yard.
OFF LIMIT AREAS: will be the kitchen, the entire second floor, (3) bedrooms, (1) bathroom, garage, and backyard space secured with latches and gates made inaccessible to the children in care.
