25 | On 03/05/2026 at 9:30 AM Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Mone Flores and Kareeca "Reeca" Sykes conducted an Announced Pre-licensing Inspection. LPAs met with the applicant, Marhaba Sharifi, and explained the purpose of today's inspection. Present during the inspection were the applicant, applicant's spouse, who are both fingerprint cleared, and one minor child. Residing in the home are the applicant, the applicant's spouse, and the applicant's four minor children. Applicant's home was toured for a health and safety inspection. The applicant stated the facility will operate Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 10:30 PM.
The home is a one-story home that consists of four (4) bedrooms, three (3) bathrooms, family room, dining room, kitchen, living room, laundry room which is across from the garage door, garage, and backyard. The entrance to the day care is the front door. The inside and outside of the home were observed to be neat, clean with age-appropriate materials and toys for the children. Toxins, medications, and hazardous materials were observed to be located in inaccessible areas during today’s inspection. LPAs observed the following precautions: accessible cabinets and drawers in the kitchen have safety latches and the wood burning fireplace is blocked off and made inaccessible to children in care. Applicant stated there are no firearms in the home and no pets in the home. LPAs did not observe a body of water in or around home.
ON LIMITS AREA: family room, living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom 2, bedroom 4 and backyard.
OFF LIMITS AREA: master bedroom 1, bedroom 2, bedroom 3, bathroom 1 (located in the master bedroom), bathroom 3, laundry room, and garage. All off limit areas will be inaccessible by safety gates, closed doors, and visual supervision. The applicant was advised to contact Licensing, so that an inspection can be completed prior to changing any off limits area to on limits.
