On 09/13/2023 at 10:30 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) K. Lynch and N. Wheeler made a case management inspection and met with facility representative. The inspection was made in response to a request for a toddler program addition to the preschool program. The facility will operate Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:15 PM. The facility will operate in one classroom and there is one restroom for children with two sinks, one just outside the restroom, and two toilets, and one designated staff restroom.
The indoor and outdoor activity spaces were toured, and the facility sketch was verified. There is a kitchen to store/prepare meals. Children will nap on mats in the classroom. The isolation area for sick children will be located in the office. The changing table is located in the children’s restroom. The outdoor play area is fully fenced. There is exterior climbing and sliding play structures for children to play on and adequate cushioning underneath. There is no pool, spa, pond, fountain, or any other body of water on the premises. There is safe and age appropriate furniture, toys, and play equipment available for children. A capacity worksheet was previously completed for the facility, and capacity will remain the same for the facility. Fire clearance was approved for the additional toddler program and received by Licensing 09/13/23.
