13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Marx met with Owner, J.Tommasini, for the purpose of delivering findings for the above allegations pertaining to preschool. Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews, reviewed records, and made observations. LPA observed full supervision of children throughout the investigation, staff spacing out to maintain visual supervision of all children/areas, and the environment free of blind spots/hazards that could cause injury. Staff interviews aligned in that supervision is maintained by small groups, spreading out, and being attentive. Staff stated that if minor injuries occur, they are treated with first aid and reported to parents through procare app or verbally at pickup, which was confirmed by LPAs record review and observation.Parent interviews did not reveal concerns regarding injury, supervision, or communciation. Child interviews were not conducted due to minimal verbal skills;LPA observed children appeared comfortable with staff and environment is age appropriate.LPA verified the facility in compliance with reporting requirements to CCLD. Evidence obtained throughout the investigation did not corroborate the allegations. Although the alleged violations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore, the allegations are unsubstantiated. Exit interview conducted and a notice of site visit provided which must remain posted for 30 days. |
