On April 21, 2022, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) C Brannon and J Pacheco met with director, Lisa Antaramian. Previous visit was conducted on 11/15/21 by LPAs Moctezuma and Her. Licensee is requesting to decrease her preschool capacity. During the 11/15/21 inspection, items were listed for correction. Preschool classrooms are #4, #5 and #6. Due to fire clearance, children can only nap in classroom #4.

Licensee is utilizing water pitchers with cup dispensers and disposable cups to provide uncontaminated drinking water in the classrooms and in the outside play area. There is one bathroom between classroom #5 and #6. There is one toilet and one sink.

Per fire clearance, children can only nap in classroom #4. Approximate inside square footage for classroom #4 was taken during previous inspection on 11/15/21. The approximate inside square footage for classroom #4 is 470, this is adequate for 13 preschool children.

The following items must be completed prior to issuing a license by 5/21/22:

1) In classroom #5 and #6, there is exposed wiring on the ceilings.
2) In classroom #5 and #6, licensee is to anchor shelving units.
3) In one classroom, director stated that she will be removing the dark brown play kitchen.
4) Repaint the metal structures in the preschool play yard. No metal should be showing.
5) Licensee shall provide documents providing plan and dates to update children's bathrooms. This can prevent preschool from licensure.
6) Get amended fire clearance and updated child care center application reflecting new preschool capacity of 13.

Pending a final file review and completion of above items, a recommendation will be made to license the above facility for a capacity of 13 preschool children.
