On 8/30/23 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joseph Pacheco conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA met with Site Supervisor, Luis Figueroa, toured the facility inside and outside and took a census. LPA explained the reason for the inspection. Licensee is Fresno Unified School District. Facility’s current playground is undergoing renovations and is currently closed. Licensee is requesting a waiver to use the outdoor play area of FUSD Webster 103808858 which is currently licensed for preschool children ages 2-6 with a capacity of 27 children. This facility is licensed for a capacity of 66 preschool children ages 2-6. Although each facility has a different address, they are located next door to each other. The outside square footage is approximately 4,221 square feet which will only accommodate up to 66 preschool children. Licensee proposes to use the outdoor play area on a staggered schedule to comply with square footage requirements for outdoor activity space.

Pending a final file review and approval of the proposed waiver, a recommendation will be made to license the above outdoor space for use by this facility while it's playground is being renovated.

Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Site Supervisor, Luis Figueroa.

A copy of this report is to remain in the facility for public review. A notice of site visit was given to Site Supervisor and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days.
