25 | On 11/20/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Priscilla Zamudio conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA met with Health and Safety Supervisor, Charlotte Miranda. The purpose of today’s inspection was to follow up on licensee’s request for approval of temporary shade structures and use of new playground structure. LPA previously inspected the playground on 3/22/24 and it was agreed that additional shade was necessary prior to use.
During today’s inspection, LPA observed a 10x10 canopy and 10x20 canopy located on grass areas near play structure. They were both secured to the ground with bolts and anchors. There was also a permanent shade structure on the opposite side of the play structure and partial shade provided by trees located off center premises. LPA advised Health and Safety Supervisor, per Management, the use of temporary shade structures is approved, however, a permanent shade structure will need to be installed by June 2025. Failure to install permanent shade may result in a citation.
Playground structure is approved for use as of this date.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited. Exit interview conducted with Health and Safety Supervisor, Charlotte Miranda. This report shall be made available to the public upon request. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
