25 | On March 7, 2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kari McWilliams conducted an unannounced inspection, the purpose of this inspection was a Case Management - Plan of Correction (POC) Inspection. LPA McWilliams completed a tour of the facility inside and out and a census was taken.
LPA met with Director Sarah Cortez to discuss the POC associated to the deficiencies cited on November 29, 2022. LPA toured the inside and observed that the inside of the facility has been painted, the transition piece from the carpet to the tile has been fixed and is no longer a tripping hazard. The facility is clean and in good repair.
LPA toured the outside and observed that the the play structures that were not in good repair have been removed, all other play structures are ini good repair and free of any sharp, loose or pointed parts. LPA observed that the city scene along the back fence has been removed and the side of the building that is inaccessible to children has been cleaned out.
LPA provided the Director with a "Letter of Deficiency Citations Cleared." Letter must be filed in facility for three years and upon request made accessible to the public for review.
