13 | On 06/16/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Aurelio Mendoza conducted an unannounced complaint inspection and met with Director Rebecka Ramirez. LPA explained that the purpose of the visit was to deliver findings regarding a complaint received by Child Care Licensing on 04/02/2026.
During the investigation, LPA interviewed the Director, day care staff, day care parents, and day care children. LPA also reviewed relevant documentation and observed that children were in a comfortable temperature. Interview responses, however, were inconsistent. Although the allegation may have occurred or be valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to support the alleged violation. Therefore, the allegation that staff do not maintain a comfortable temperature for the day care children is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, no deficiencies were cited during today’s inspection. An exit interview was conducted with Director Rebecka Ramirez. Appeal rights were provided and discussed. A Notice of Site Visit was issued and must remain posted for 30 days.
