25 | On 3/13/24 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joseph Pacheco conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA met with Director, Erin Ortiz, toured the facility inside and outside and a census was taken. LPA explained to Director the reason for the inspection. Facility has submitted an application to increase its preschool capacity from 90 preschool children to 96 preschool children and remove its toddler option. During today's inspection, LPA confirmed the following items have been completed:
Indoor Activity Space
1. Anchor play refrigerator and tall play equipment in preschool/TK classroom.
Outdoor Activity Space
1. Remove tires and hose from the new outdoor activity area.
2. Make the areas behind the storage shed inaccessible to children in care.
A fire clearance request for 96 preschool children was submitted to the City of Fresno Fire Department on 3/11/24.
Pending a final file review and facility receiving a fire clearance for 96 preschool children ages 2-6 a recommendation will be made to license the above facility for a capacity of 96 preschool children.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Erin Ortiz. A notice of site visit was given to Director and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. A copy of this report is to remain in the facility for public review. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
