25 | On 3/13/24 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joseph Pacheco conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA met with Director, Erin Ortiz, toured the facility inside and outside and a census was taken. LPA explained to Director the reason for the inspection. Facility has submitted an application to increase its infant capacity from 40 infants to 72 infants. During today's inspection, LPA confirmed the following items have been completed:
Indoor Activity Space
1. Clean, remove clutter and install refrigerator in Infant #3 classroom.
LPA previously inspected the facility on 3/4/24. During that inspection, measurements of the infant outdoor activity space were taken. The square footage of the infant outdoor activity space measured to an approximate 3,068 square feet which will only accommodate 40 infant children. Facility has submitted a waiver request to have the infant children share the outdoor space at separate time while not exceeding 40 infants on the outdoor space at any given time.
A fire clearance request for 72 infant children was submitted to the City of Fresno Fire Department on 3/11/24.
Pending a final file review, approval of the outdoor activity space waiver and facility receiving a fire clearance for 72 infant children ages 0-2 a recommendation will be made to license the above facility for a capacity of 72 infant children.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Erin Ortiz.
