Charlotte had also informed the department that a temporary 10 by 10-foot shade canopy will be placed prior to children being present.
During today’s inspection, LPA inspected and discussed with Charlotte the play yard area that the center would like to utilize for the children until the construction of their current yard. LPA observed that that there is a water drainage basin next to the temporary play yard that is inaccessible. During the walk through of the yard, LPA noticed that temporary play yard has a chain-link fence that is at least 5 feet or higher that runs along the whole of the back play yard. LPA did observe various animal fecal matter throughout the grassy parts of the yard. Charlotte stated that the children will have access of the play yard through the back door of the preschool classroom.
