32 | Facility understands that preschool children are not to use the outdoor play area at the same time as kindergarten children. LPA observed a play structure with multiple slides and a shade structure built in. Mature trees provide additional shade. LPA also observed a sand box and a grass area. There is one storage shed outside for the preschool toys and equipment which is kept locked at all times. LPA reminded Teacher to make sure they have visual supervision of children at all times. The playground equipment appeared to be in a safe condition, free of any sharp, loose or pointed parts. LPA observed one drinking fountain in the outside play area. Teacher stated that facility also utilizes a third party water service through Culligan to provide water for children who bring their own water bottles from home.
A fire clearance for 24 preschool children was received and granted by the Fresno County Fire Department on 2/16/23.
Pending a final file review a recommendation will be made to license Classroom 29 for the above facility for a capacity of 24 preschool children.
