On 05/01/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Aurelio Mendoza conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to provide findings for the above allegations. LPA met with Director of Operations Rebecca Dritz. LPA explained the above allegations, engaged with staff, toured the facility inside and outside plus took a census.

During the investigation, LPA reviewed records, interviewed complainant, director, site supervisor, day care staff, parents, and children in care plus made observations. This agency determined that the complaint allegations above are unsubstantiated. Regarding the allegations that staff do not ensure facility is properly cleaned and sanitized plus staff do not provide a healthful environment for day care children, interviews, records reviewed, and observations yielded inconsistencies.

While LPA observed some room for upkeep in the kitchen area during the initial opening of the investigation subsequent LPA visits yielded evidence that staff members work together to clean and sanitize the various areas of the facility that are accessible to children in care.

Although these allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations; therefore, the allegations are unsubstantiated.

Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, no deficiency is cited during today’s visit. Exit interview conducted with Director of Operations Rebecca Dritz. Appeal rights were provided and discussed.

A Notice of Site Visit was given and will be posted for 30 days.
