| Room measurements were taken and reviewed with Amy. The total inside preschool area measured to an approximate 1,560 square feet which will meet the requested capacity. Amy will submit proof that there are enough cubby spaces for the requested preschool capacity that is being requested. LPA Observed plenty of tables and chairs. More cots/mats were ordered to meet the requested capacity. Amy understands that children's equipment need to match the capacity they are requesting.
Toys and equipment are age appropriate. The Cots will be stored in the classroom. Amy stated that bedding/sheets get sent home to parents to get washed every week on Friday. There will be a washer and dryer on site and can wash sheets if needed and will have extra sheets in case parents forget to bring their child one. There are a total of 4 toilets and only 2 sinks which will only accommodate 30 preschool children. Amy stated that the application will be amended and submitted for approval. There is a water dispenser in the storage closet which Amy stated that staff will use to fill out the children's water bottles which will be stored on top of a table next to the Kitchenette so water is readily available to children at all times. A water jug will be used to drink water outside. Amy stated they have extra cups or bottles in case a child forgets to bring theirs.
The approximate outside square footage for the preschool area is 3,283 which will accommodate the newly requested capacity of 30 Preschool Children. The preschool play area is gated and has mature trees that provide shade. Amy stated that they are getting a play structure later in the year. LPA reminded licensee to provide the specifications and notify licensing before/after completing the installation. There is a bike path, bikes, wood chips, and grass area. LPA reminded Amy to provide adequate supervision of children at all times.
A fire clearance for 36 preschool children was received and granted by the Fresno Fire Department on 8/10/2021. A new fire clearance will be sent out to meet the newly requested capacity of 30 preschool children.
This facility plans to provide Incidental Medical Services – IMS.
