25 | On 07/07/23 licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Denisia Jimenez and Licensing Program Manager Juvenal Moctezuma conducted an unannounced case management inspection to inspect the newly built enclosed patio that will be used for primary day care. LPA and LPM met with licensee Suzette Jackson who is caring for 10 children with the help of her assistant. LPA observed the patio is enclosed with 6 glass windows, toys, a diaper changing station,a table with chairs, a water dispenser, cots, high chair, air conditioner, recliner, and storage cabinets anchored to the wall. LPA toured the outdoor play area and observed plenty of toys. There's a pool with an enclosed metal gate with a self latching gate. There's a hot tub that is inaccessible to children by a locked door and cover that only licensee has access to. Licensee provided LPA with a copy of the patio permit that was issued by the city of Fresno. There is an AC Unit to keep the patio room cool and warm when needed. The patio is approved for children to use effective today. Licensee was reminded to notify licensing if there are ever any other structural changes to her home. Licensee understood.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited. Exit interview conducted with Licensee, Suzette Jackson. This report is to be made available to the public upon request.
