25 | On 11/6/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Stephanie Vega-Gonzalez and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Juvenal Moctezuma conducted a case management inspection to ensure that resident JAMIE VALENZUELA is not providing care to children. The proposed decision and order was adopted in its entirety, pursuant to Government Code 11517(c)(2)(A) and became effective as of October 16th, 2023 Indicating that licensees Family Child Care Home License has been revoked. LPA and LPM met with Jamie Valenzuela, also present were three other adults.
On today’s date LPA and LPM observed a family day care sign still posted by the entrance door of facility. LPA and LPM observed the following: Jamie Valenzuela, three adults in the facility, two infants, three toddlers, two small dogs, one large dog, two highchairs, six sleeping cots, one car seat outside of the home, and various toys located inside of the living room.
LPM Moctezuma provided Jamie Valenzuela copies of the following documents and reviewed them with Jamie Valenzuela: Decision and Order, Proposed Decision, Notice of Time Limits for Reconsideration (Gov. Code Section 11521), and Notice Regarding Petition for Reinstatement (Gov. Code Section 11522). Jamie understands that she cannot care for children without a FCCH License. Jamie Valenzuela was informed that children’s legal guardians/parents needed to pick up children that were present on today’s date. Jamie Valenzuela informed LPA and LPM to wait outside while legal guardians/parents pick up children. LPA and LPM observed children being picked up.
LPA and LPM reviewed report and appeal rights with Jamie Valenzuela and provided copies to Jamie Valenzuela.
