Licensee stated that children are supervised at all times and confirmed understanding that children may not be left in parked vehicles. The outdoor play area is fully fenced and free from hazards. Licensed capacity is being maintained.
LPA reviewed a sample of children’s files and confirmed that emergency information and required forms were complete. The licensee’s Mandated Reporter Training is valid through August 6, 2026. LPA discussed the Community Care Licensing website (www.ccld.ca.gov), which provides access to resources including forms, regulations, PINs, and Quarterly Updates. Reporting Requirements as outlined in Section 102416.2 were reviewed with the licensee.
LPA reminded Licensee Bianca Aguilar that all adults 18 and over who live or work in the home must have a criminal record clearance or exemption on file before having contact with children in care, as required under Health and Safety Code section 1596.871. A civil penalty of $100 per day, up to a maximum of 5 days (or 30 days for repeat violations), may be assessed for noncompliance. (Continued on LIC809-C)
