25 | On 1/29/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Valentin Hernandez conducted an unannounced Annual Random Inspection and was met by licensee, Glafira Camacho De Trujillo. Also present was licensee’s husband, which is also her assistant. Licensee is Spanish Speaking and LPA speaks Spanish. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 4:30am to 6:30pm.
The home has a working telephone service and LPA confirmed the phone number is (559) 369 5791.
LPA toured the home inside and outside. A census was taken and there was four (4) day care children present. LPA reviewed current facility sketch and confirmed that room #2, day care room(enclosed patio), dinning room, kitchen, and hallway bathroom are used for providing care and accessible to day care children. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by the use of plastic doorknob covers.
Per licensee, there is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises.
Per licensee, there are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. All poisons are kept in a locked storage area. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
There is one fireplace in the home located in the living room and is made inaccessible to the children in care by a fire screen and will not be in use during daycare hours. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort.
There is a two-story home; the second story of the home is inaccessible to children in care as there is a child safety gate at the kitchen door and then another lock door prior to entering the second story stair when children under age 5 years old are present. Safe toys and play equipment are observed.
