Facility was inspected inside and outside as shown on the facility sketch and the following items were discussed:

On this date, 06/02/2026, the California Attorney General - Megan’s Law website was searched for information on sex offenders required to register with local law enforcement under California's Megan's Law. No registered sex offenders were found at the facility addresses. Under state law, some registered sex offenders are not subject to public disclosure; therefore, they may not have been included in this search. However, the Department conducts a monthly cross reference of each address on record for all registered sex offenders against all CCLD facility addresses pursuant to information shared by California DOJ.

This is a two-story 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home and stairs are gated when children under age 5 years old are present. The home has working telephone service and LPA confirmed the phone number. Children will have access to the downstairs areas including the living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom (day-care room) and backyard. All other rooms are off-limits and inaccessible by use of plastic doorknob covers, safety gates and locked doors.  Continued on 809 C

• Type A deficiencies are violations of licensing requirements that, if not corrected, have a direct and immediate risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of persons in care.

• Type B deficiencies are violations of licensing requirements that, without correction, could become a risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of persons in care, a recordkeeping violation that could impact the care of said persons and/or protection of their resources, or a violation that could impact those services required to meet the needs of persons in care.

· Applicant's Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification was completed through HSI Pediatric with Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) stickers and expires on 05/30/2028.

· Preventative Health and Safety Course with Prevention of Lead exposure certification was completed on August 8, 2026.

· Applicant completed the Mandated Reporter Training for Child Care Providers on September 3, 2024.

· SB 792 immunizations have been verified and are on file.

· Applicant rents/leases the home, proof of landlord notification is required. The LPA observed the Property Owner/Landlord Notification form (LIC9151) that the applicant confirms was provided to the property owner/landlord. The applicant obtained a signed Property Owner/Landlord Consent form (LIC 9149).

· LPA observed a couch and a wall mounted television in the living room. LPA observed a child-sized table and chairs and art supplies in the daycare room (bedroom). Safe toys and play equipment are also observed. Children will nap on mats; infants will nap in a play yard in the daycare room. Applicant understands she is to supervise children at all times.

· LPA inspected the fenced backyard and observed concrete with an area of artificial turf. There is a child-sized picnic table with umbrella, a playhouse and tricycles. No hazards to children were observed.

· Facility has 3A40BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm and first aid kit in place.

· Knives are stored in a top kitchen cupboard. Medications are stored in a top kitchen cupboard.

· Cleaning compounds are stored in a top kitchen cupboard. Poisons are stored in the garage and made inaccessible via a door lock.

· There are no bodies of water in the home or premises.

· Applicant states there are no pets in the home.

· Applicant states there are no firearms or ammunition in the home or premises.

· LPA advised applicant fire drills are to be conducted once every 6 months and must be documented with date and time. A fire drill log was provided as an example.

· Applicant is reminded that any advertising (of day-care) such as business cards, flyers/posters, and/or signs must include facility number as per Title 22 Regulation "Advertisements and License Number" 102359 (a).

· Applicant is advised that smoking is prohibited on the premises of a family child care home as specified in Health and Safety Code Section 1596.795(a). Applicant states the home is smoke-free.

· Applicant is advised Fresno Community Care Licensing Division has inspection authority and can inspect all rooms in the home including garages and/or separate dwellings on the premises.

· Applicant states she will not be transporting day care children. Applicant understands that children should never be left in the car.

LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with applicant and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at: https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information and-resources/safe-sleep, as an additional resource. LPA also informed applicant of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at: https://www.cpsc.gov/, and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. LPA provided applicant/Licensee with Individual Infant Sleeping Plan and Safe Sleep handout.

Applicant was reminded that all adults 18 and over living in the home, persons who provide care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
