25 | On 7/9/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was Spanish-speaking Licensee, Ana Resendiz, her husband, her adult daughter, her minor child and one day care child who was playing in the living room. Licensee, her husband, her adult daughter and one minor child reside in the home. Verified licensee’s CPR and First Aid was completed through American Red Cross and expires on 4/15/25. Licensee’s Assistant, Francis Resendiz completed the training through American Red Cross and expires on 5/23/26. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 6/26/24.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on 6/26/24. Licensee states that fire inspector did not require for her to install a fire pull alarm.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. LPA also observed one high chair and one play yard. There is a parent’s board that is located on the right hand side wall of the home’s entry way.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
- Facility has 3A40BC fire extinguisher that is mounted onto the dining room wall. There is a functioning carbon monoxide alarm, smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
