25 | On 6/4/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli met with Applicant, Adilene Gutierrez for a pre-licensing inspection. Applicant, her husband, her Mother in Law, her Father in Law and three minor children reside in the home. Background clearances are discussed and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults currently living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance.
Facility was inspected inside and outside as shown on the facility sketch and the following items were discussed:
- This is a single story, four bedrooms and two bathrooms home and children will have access to the living room #1 (napping room), living room #2, dining room, kitchen, converted garage room (play room) and hallway bathroom. Off-limits rooms/ closets are made inaccessible by use of door knob covers, door lever locks and doorknob key locks. Applicant states the converted garage does not have permits. Applicant understands since she does not have city/county building permits for the garage play room, she must only use the room for temporary day care activities such as arts and crafts, movie time, and/or meal times but never use the room for napping children. Applicant states the entrance to the home will be through the right side run of the home that leads to the side door of the garage room.
- There is a fireplace in living room #1 that applicant states it will not be used during day-care hours. There is central air heating/cooling ventilation for safety and comfort.
- LPA observed in the play room; child size furniture, safe toys, and books for the children. There is a diaper changing table, two infant swings and a parents board mounted onto the wall.
