It was also alleged that the facility is dirty; specifically, the kitchen floor is full of debris. The floors appeared adequately clean on inspections June 1 & July 19, 2023. On June 1 the LPA inspected the floor and could only find a couple of pieces of sausage under a highchair; they had a meal a half hour prior and children were not playing near the highchairs. On 7/19 the LPAs observed a clean floor with no debris. On June 1st, 2023 at 9:15am the licensee denied having dirty or hazardous floors and said she tries hard to keep the floor clear. 6 witnesses, including 4 parents and 2 staff were interviewed and all denied the allegation that the floors were dirty.

It was also alleged that the Licensee does not adequately supervise day care children in care; specifically, that she is unable to watch the older children because she is overwhelmed with 4 infants or doesn’t have an assistant. On June 1st, 2023 at 9:15am the Licensee denied this and denied feeling overwhelmed and said she uses an assistant as needed. The LPA did not observe any chaos and the supervision appeared adequate during the inspections on June 1 and July 19, 2023. 10 witnesses, including 4 parents, 4 children and 2 staff were interviewed and none of them corroborated the allegation stating that the children were watched by the licensee.
