On December 19, 2025 at 2:45 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Noah Wheeler and Kiriko Lynch conducted an unannounced complaint inspection, and met with facility director Kathleen Vitale. It was alleged that Staff handle day care children in a rough manner, Staff restrain day care children, Staff speak to day care children in an inappropriate manner, Staff do not ensure day care children are provided a comfortable temperature. Facility director was interviewed and denied the allegations. She stated staff guide children outside and will hold children if they are a danger to themselves and others. She stated staff will raise voices but will keep their emotions in check when speaking with children, and if staff get overwhelmed, they have a policy to have another teacher step in and take control. She stated they have fans in each classroom that they have running when the classroom gets hot, and they also have the kitchen window open for air flow. During the investigation, staff, children, and parents were interviewed and generally no disclosures were made related to the allegations. During the investigation, the facility was toured, and files related to the period of time indicated in the allegations were reviewed.
