13 | On 09/20/24 at 2:30 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Kiriko Lynch and Noah Wheeler visited the center for the purpose of a complaint investigation visit. It was alleged child was unsupervised while napping, specifically one child was allowed to sleep alone in the director’s office with the door closed. Three staff, including the owner/licensee (S1-S3), and seven children (C1-C7) were interviewed on 07/02/24 and witnesses disclosed a child slept alone and unsupervised in the office due to having difficulty napping in the classroom at naptime with the other children. During the complaint inspection visits, LPAs also observed the facility staff was providing adequate care and supervision to children. Based on the evidence obtained, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be substantiated. California Code of Regulations, Title 22 is cited on the attached LIC 9099D. Exit interview was conducted, notice of site visit posted, and appeal rights were provided. |
