25 | On 10/16/2024 at 3 PM, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kiriko Lynch. At 3 PM the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and assistant were supervising five children and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 7:30 AM-5 PM, Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are currently both bedrooms, side yard, detached garage, and are made inaccessible by gates, fencing, latches, locks. The children currently use the front yard area as the main outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. The house utilizes wood stove and it is barricaded by fencing. There were no pools or bodies of water observed in the yard. Five children's records were reviewed at 3:45 PM. Two staff records were also reviewed at 3:45 PM. There are currently 2 adults living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. |
