25 | On 09/20/24 at 1 PM, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kiriko Lynch and Noah Wheeler. At 1 PM the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and assistant were supervising seven children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 4 AM – 7 PM, Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The following areas will be off limits to children: all bedrooms, garage, gated dog area, upper back yard area, exterior shed. These areas have been made inaccessible by means of child safe knobs, locked, latched, fencing/gates. The home is equipped with a working smoke detector and fire extinguisher rated at least 2A10BC. The home utilizes central air and heat. The children will use the backyard as the outdoor play area. The backyard is completely fenced. There is no pool, spa, pond, fountain, or any other body of water on the premises.
Five children's records were reviewed at 1:30 PM. Two staff records were reviewed at 1:30 PM. There are currently two adults, and three minors living in the home.
There were no deficiencies cited during today’s inspection.
