25 | An unannounced case management inspection was conducted today at 11:30 AM by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kiriko Lynch. LPA met with licensee Katie McKay in response to the licensee’s request for an increase of capacity to 14. An approved fire inspection was approved on 10/22/24. The licensee has met the requirement for at least one year of experience. A copy of the staffing ratio requirements was provided and discussed with the licensee. The licensee acknowledged she understood the ratio requirements and has an assistant with the required documentation on file. The licensee understands that an assistant provider under the age of 18 cannot be left alone without an adult on the premises. The facility’s operating hours are 7:45 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The residence is a 3 bedroom/2 bath single story home.The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified, and off-limits areas are currently: shed, garage, and have been made inaccessible by means of gates, latches, locks, etc. The home has forced air heating. The children use the backyard area as the main outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. There were no pools or bodies of water observed in the yard. The home is equipped with a working smoke detector and fire extinguisher rated at least 2A10BC. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living in the home, persons who provide care and supervision to children, |
