25 | On 8/09/22 at 12:45 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Claudia Amador conducted an unannounced Case Management-licensee initiated inspection with the licensee, Teresa and Angel Aguilar. LPA Amador informed the licensee that the purpose of the inspection was for the requested change of capacity. Licensee led LPA on a tour of the facility. There were no children at the facility during the time of the inspection. Hours of operation are Monday through Sunday 12:00 am – 11:59 pm.
On 08/02/2022 a fire clearance was granted for fourteen (14) children. This single story, three (3) bedrooms, 2 bathroom home. The following areas are used for day-care: living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom 1, and backyard. Off-limits areas include all bedrooms, bathroom 2, and family room. They are made inaccessible to daycare children through the use of door locks, doorknob covers, kitchen safety latches, and child safety gates. There is no fireplace on the premises. Licensee utilizes the fenced backyard for outdoor activities. LPA informed the licensee to ensure children are supervised at all times during outdoor activities. The licensee stated there are no bodies of water and LPA did not observe any bodies of water during the inspection.
There are sufficient age-appropriate toys, games, and play equipment available. The home was clean and orderly during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, and medicines are inaccessible to children in care and poisons are to be locked away. The fire extinguisher is rated 2A:10B:C and located in the dining room, smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detectors meet requirements and are operational. There is a working cell phone in the home. The licensee stated there are no firearms, other weapons, or ammunition on the property.
