On June 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gloria Gonzalez conducted an unannounced, Licensee initiated, case management inspection to add a a room #5 and a bathroom #3 for daycare use and met with Licensee, Maria Mascareno.  LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry by the Licensee. The Licensee, Maria Mascareno, eight (8) daycare children, and two (2) staff members were present at the facility during this inspection.

On 4/24/24, Licensee submitted documentation requesting to add a room #5 and bathroom #3 for daycare use. A granted fire clearance was received on 5/7/24. Licensee accompanied LPA on a tour of the home and new daycare areas. LPA did not see any hazardous items and is safe for daycare children to use. The new room and bathroom may be used as of today, 6/4/24 for daycare use.

A copy of the report and appeal rights (LIC 9058) and notice of site visit (LIC9213) was provided to Licensee and must remain posted for 30 days and advised must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. LPA interpreted and explained the inspection report to licensee in Spanish, licensee stated she understood.
 
An exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Maria Mascareno.
