25 | LPA Claudia Amador announced a visit to the facility and met with applicant’s spouse Cesar Llamas. The purpose of the visit was to view the backyard fence installed to make the neighbor’s swimming pool inaccessible to the care of children. The neighbors pool is above ground and at the time of the visit the pool is covered. LPA toured the backyard fence surrounding the home, which is not climbable; photos taken. The fence height is 5 ft. 25. The LPA reviewed and provided a copy of the PIN 22-03 CCLD.
LPA reviewed-
• locks in the kitchen installed- drawers and doors.
• the security gates in their respective areas- three (3) installed.
• curtain cords- Living Room #1 and Living Room #2, are cut to make shorter.
• backyard for the children was made safe by removing articles and by installing the new fence. The side yard that will be inaccessible to children will be secured with a metal gate. The applicant will email images once the gate is installed. Photos taken of reviewed areas.
The applicant anticipates opening date in September 2022.
The applicant appears to comply; no corrections are needed and can be licensed as a small Family Child Care Home for a maximum of 8 children effective on this date.
This home is approved as a small family childcare home with a capacity for eight children with no more than three or four infants. In addition, the house is approved to care for the maximum capacity of 8 children when two children are at least six years of age or enrolled in school and a maximum of 2 infants present. |
