25 | On February 21, 2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Paul Garcia conducted an unannounced case management visit and met with Director Erin Willcox. A tour of the facility was given, and a census was taken. This visit was initiated by licensee to inspect one (1) classroom (classroom 6) that was previously off limits that she wanted to use for children in care for the purposes of play during inclement weather.
A current facility sketch was reviewed, and Licensee confirmed that the classrooms 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 6, boys girls restrooms, and the outdoor play area are now used for providing care and are accessible to children. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by the use of locks and door spinners. LPA measured the room and the measurements are 20 x 24 square feet. This room will have a maximum capacity of 13 children. This area will be used for gross motor skills.
LPA approves the immediate use for classroom six (6).
LPAs confirmed that the new facility sketch that was received during visit matched licensees sketch to ensure the accuracy of the areas being used.
LPAs provided Licensee Anita with technical assistance of the CCLD website and the training's that are available to her.
Per Title 22 Division 12 Chapter 1 of the California Code of Regulations no deficiencies are being cited today.
