25 | On 07/26/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Diane Mercado conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA met with Director, Tanya Rosales. The purpose of today’s inspection was to discuss a recent waiver request received and to inspect the gym/cafeteria.
Based on file review conducted by LPA, the gym/cafeteria is an area that is accessible to day care children. During today’s inspection LPA inspected the gym/cafeteria. All kitchen, food preparation and storage areas are clean, free of litter/rubbish and free of rodents/vermin. LPA did not observe any hazards in the areas that will be used for day care children. The area accessible for use by children includes cafeteria tables with seating and open area for recreation.
A waiver has been requested to allow the school age and preschool children to utilize the gym/cafeteria at the same time without the required separation by way of walls or partitions. The waiver has been granted and presented at the time of this inspection.
LPA Mercado provided a ‘Facility Sketch’ (LIC 999A) to Director to be updated.Director to submit updated facility sketch to Department to be stored in facility file at Regional Child Care Office. Director is to also keep a copy of updated sketch for the facility’s records. Director is to post waiver next to school age license.
Per California Code of Regulations Title 22 Division 12 Chapter 1, no deficiencies are being cited. Notice of Site Visit to be Posted for 30 days.
